Black Barn

Black Barn is a contemporary addition to a traditional home in Greenwich, Connecticut. The barn is clad in burnt wood as a counterpoint to the white, clean exterior of the original home. A small glass link connects the form to the main house, with a simple gesture that provides a sheltered drop off. Inside the glass cube, a red form is layer beyond the glass, providing a new entry for the house.
